Study shows ATP Extreme dramatically reduced the effects of fatigue over multiple high intensity 500m row intervals
September 2014. ATP Nutritionals LLC conducted an in-house study to determine the how ATP Extreme affects the fatigue rate of athletes over multiple high-intensity rowing intervals. The findings were very noteworthy.
When evaluating the results, we looked at the performance drop experienced by the athletes from the 1st Effort to the 2nd Effort AND the performance drop experienced by the athletes from the 1st Effort to the 3rd Effort on both test days.
Study Background Information:
- The workout consisted of three (3) 500m row sprints with 2 minute rest periods in between.
- The athletes were asked to perform this workout in consecutive weeks – once without ATP Extreme and once with ATP Extreme.
- The athletes were asked to keep their other supplementation constant and to make sure to do the designed interval workout after a rest day and as the first workout of the day to ensure the most accurate possible results.
- 10 trained crossfit athletes participated in the study (9 men + 1 woman)

ATP Extreme reduced the performance drop from the 1st to the 2nd Effort by 20% on average.
ATP Extreme reduced the performance drop from the 1st to the 3rd Effort by 23% on average.
The 2nd Effort w/o ATP Extreme was virtually equivalent to the 3rd Effort with ATP Extreme.
THE BOTTOM LINE
In this study, ATP Extreme was shown to dramatically reduce the fatigue rate in athletes over multiple high-intensity intervals. Since rowing in a highly aerobic exercise that involves multiple muscle groups, these benefits should translate to any high intensity training or sport.
For any serious competitive athlete, these reductions in fatigue could easily be the difference between winning and losing!
